02. Kendall Hempleman

Wife to Alex and a mum of 2 to their son Jack and daughter Emily. Kendall moved in with Alex in February 2015 to help continue to build an established Equestrian Business bringing more great knowledge and horsemanship to Alex's existing business here at Hempleman Equestrian. They have known each other for years through the World of Showjumping and have always been good friends within the sport. They were together for 4 years before having their son Jack William born early in December 2018 and then marrying in September 2019 in their local town Cowfold, West Sussex. Kendall has always had a passion for horses. Growing up a pony mad child her mother and father (who were also keen Equestrians back in the day) bought her first pony "Flipper" who really was a star. "I have a lot to thank that pony for." Kendall worked at home alongside her Dad and sister Chloe producing and competing ponies whilst juggling school work and studying to be a Paediatric nurse. From there Chloe followed her University dream and Kendall left school after her A levels and got her first job based with Dave & Sharon Quigley in Shropshire. She spent her late teens working for Quigley Sport Horses who she says "taught her so much and opened her eyes to so much more". Working with top competition horses, travelling to shows, riding young horses and grooming doing daily routine yard work made her keen to aspire to make this her life passion. Throughout Kendall's twenties she worked for a few other riders in the Sport. Andrew Davies & Vicky Hesford, Alan Thomas & finally Tim Gredley in Newmarket. Kendall moved back to Cheshire where she had a break from the saddle and worked in Sales for Edgemere Ltd. Edgemere Ltd is a UK based Equestrian stockist and still are very good friends of Kendall's now also a super retailer of the best products for all Equestrian needs. Kendall was then offered the chance to ride again for the Unex Stables in Wellington, Florida moving back to her main passion of horses, she flew out to join the team on the WEF circuit as Rider/ Manager at Unex Competition Stables, also based in the Newmarket, Suffolk every summer. Kendall has a wealth of experience in so many fields Equestrian - from working alongside the best Riders, Grooms, Vets and Trainers and travelling to some amazing competition venues her valued experience in horses is never ending.
